The News section consists of:
- The News page, which serves as a container for blog posts. Any body text added to this page will not appear.
- Your site’s posts.
To add a news article, go to Posts → Add New.
To replace your site’s home page with an index of your latest news, go to Settings → Reading and change the “Front page displays” setting to “Your latest posts.”
To remove the News section entirely, make sure the Settings → Reading front page option is set to “A static page.” Then simply delete the News page or remove it from the menu.
